[Winter Leaf] Celebrate Birthday For Children

For the past six months, I have been regularly visiting the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital every month to organize birthday parties for children battling cancer. Accompanying me each month are passionate and compassionate volunteers. Despite coming from different backgrounds, we all share a common goal—to bring joy and hope to these children.

We prepare birthday cakes, decorate the rooms, and give gifts to each child. In addition to material gifts, there are also invaluable spiritual gifts, including captivating magic performances and lively musical acts brought to the children by the talented performers from the circus troupe. The success of these birthday celebrations would not be possible without the generous contributions from our sponsors and the dedicated staff from the hospital’s Social Work Department.

The children’s smiles and the love in their eyes are the driving force that motivates me to continue this journey. These precious moments not only give the children more strength to overcome the challenges of their treatments but also remind me of the power of empathy and kindness.

With every visit, I always hope that, even if only for a brief moment, the children can forget their hardships and experience the joy of childhood. This is my small way of contributing to their journey, bringing hope and warmth to these brave hearts.
