In recent days, me and my group, Nature’s Touch, had the privilege of organizing a charity trip to the Center for Addiction Treatment No. 2 in Ba Vì. This trip wasn’t just about offering material support but also providing emotional encouragement to children who, at such a young age, face the burden of living with HIV. The experience left me with a sense of deep gratitude and a renewed commitment to continue making a difference.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation. Meeting the children was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Many of them are carrying a heavy weight, but there was a spirit of resilience and hope in their eyes that truly inspired me. Through our conversations and time spent together, it became clear that, while material donations like candies, balls, and food are important, what these kids value most is connection – the chance to share their stories and feel heard.
One of the most touching parts of the trip was seeing how our fundraising efforts were put to use. All the money raised through generous donations and the selling of keychains went directly toward purchasing supplies and a special gift for the children. It was a humbling experience to witness how small actions like selling handmade items or rallying donations could turn into something that brings so much joy to these kids.
What resonated with me the most was how much this trip wasn’t just about giving, but also receiving. We gave them material support, but in return, we gained valuable life lessons. The children taught us about the power of perseverance and how hope can shine through even the darkest situations. Spending time with them reminded me of the simple but profound truth that sometimes, a conversation, a smile, or just being present can make a world of difference.

I came away from this experience with a fresh perspective on charity. It’s not just about providing financial or material help; it’s about being there for others on a deeper level, offering them emotional and mental support in ways that are just as important. This trip reinforced my belief in the importance of listening, understanding, and simply sharing moments with people in need.
As I reflect on the journey, I am immensely proud of what Nature’s Touch was able to accomplish. This trip to Ba Vì wasn’t just a one-time event for us. It felt like a beginning – a small step toward building lasting connections and making a more meaningful impact in the lives of these children.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our project, whether through donations, buying keychains, or spreading the word. Your kindness made this trip possible, and the impact is truly tangible. The children not only received the physical supplies they needed, but they also felt the warmth and care of everyone who contributed.
Meeting with organizers
Moving forward, I hope that Nature’s Touch can continue to grow and organize even more impactful trips in the future. This experience has shown me how much work still needs to be done, and I’m more motivated than ever to be part of that change. Here’s to many more opportunities to make a difference together.
Thank you for your continued support and for believing in the power of compassion.
